Return and Refund Policy

At keycopy.in, each key is custom-manufactured based on customer-provided inputs. Due to the nature of the product, returns and refunds are applicable only under specific conditions.

By placing an order, the customer agrees to this Return & Refund Policy.

🔑 1. Non-Working Key (Primary Case)

If the delivered key does not work:

The customer must provide a clear video proof showing:
- The received key
- Attempt to use the key in the lock/ignition
- The issue faced

👉 This step is mandatory for verification.

🔄 2. Resolution Process

After reviewing the submitted proof:

✅ If the issue is verified:

We will re-manufacture and resend the key at no additional cost

💰 3. Refund Policy

If a refund is approved:

The customer must return the delivered key
After inspection, the refund will be processed as:

Store Credit (Cash Credit Account) only

The credited amount:
- Can be used anytime
- Can be used for any future purchase

👉No cash or bank refunds will be provided under any circumstances.

🚫 4. No Return / No Refund Conditions

Return, replacement, or refund will not be applicable if:

Incorrect / unclear key photo was provided
Wrong key code or details were submitted
Poor-quality images led to incorrect decoding
Customer fails to provide valid video proof
Key is damaged, modified, or tampered after delivery

⚠️ 5. Lock Condition Disclaimer

If the vehicle lock (ignition/lock system) is faulty, worn out, or damaged, keycopy.in will not be responsible for improper key functioning

⚠️ 6. Third-Party / Pre-Made Key Disclaimer

If the customer provides a previously made key (e.g., by a local locksmith) as reference and that key is inaccurate or incorrect:

👉 keycopy.in will not be responsible if the newly manufactured key does not function properly

📦 7. Return Shipping

In approved cases, customers may be required to ship the product back
Return instructions will be shared by our support team

All orders are processed based on:
- Customer-provided inputs
- Verified documents
Customers are strongly advised to follow:
- “How to Take Photo” guidelines

Minor variations in finish may occur due to manufacturing processes
